Having an entrepreneurial spirit definitely has it’s advantages. It is a great path for out of the box thinkers, people who are self motivated and for people who like the idea of financial freedom to name a few. Now more than any other time in history becoming your own boss has never been easier. It is becoming increasingly easier to fill a need in the market place no matter what your passion is. In my opinion an entrepreneurial spirit is closer to a mind set than anything else. It is a mind set that goes against conventional thinking. Entrepreneurs posses unshakeable focus and vision. They see opportunity where others see dead ends. They don’t get discouraged in the face of rejection. They have a different definition of failure than most. They are inspired and inspiring. Some people seem to be born with it while others may have it brought out of them. Under the right circumstances I believe an entrepreneurial spirit can be taught. If it is indeed a mind set then it is really a matter of mental conditioning, changing limiting beliefs and finding a strong enough reason to stay the course through all adversities.
